Boredale Circuit (Place Fell, Angle Tarn Pikes, Beda Fell) & Wildlife Adventure.

I’ve saved this one for the Autumn, as this area is renowned for its Red Deer population and as this will be the time of the annual rut where males compete for the chance to mate. This is quite a spectacle, and although we will maintain a safe distance the sights and sounds are wonderful. You may wish to pack some binoculars if you have some.

Making a horseshoe around the valley of Boredale, taking in Place Fell , Angle Tarn Pikes with its craggy summits and Beda Fell this is a really lovely outing.

Wainwright Count 3

Level 2, some walking experience needed.

Approx 13 km 800m height gain, good paths potential for some boggy sections given the time of year.
