Catbells via the Keswick Launch

Catbells and a boat ride, a Lake District classic.

Level 1, suitable for all with a sense of adventure.

6.5km. 470m height gain, stoney paths and some rocky sections. where you will need to use your hands.

For this walk we will meet in Keswick and take the launch together, full details on times tbc (awaiting timetables!), a boat ride always adds to a sense of adventure.

Catbells is a Lakeland classic but also one which can cause concern for the unprepared as it has some rocky sections, however with my support and guidance we will pick the best route for all.

This walk takes place on Mothers Day and and is open to all, whether you want to attend with your mother, with your child, or alone. In the spirit of openness I lost my mother many years ago and miss her still. I am childless by choice and aware of the sensitivities this date may bring.

Parking and public toilets in Keswick.

£39pp plus launch fare (approx £12pp).
